Saudi bans shisha, indecent clothes and Playing Music in Public

prince-khalid-al-faisalnews54sf55f445Saudi Arabia has banned smoking of shisha, wearing of indecent clothes and playing of music in public places following a strong of incident involving obscene acts, newspapers in the conservative Gulf Kingdom reported on Thursday.

Prince Khalid Al Faisal, Emir of the Western Makkah province, issued an order to all provinces in the Kingdom banning such practices, they said.

The decision affects shisha smoking, wearing indecent clothes, playing and carrying music instruments and obscene behavior in parks and other public places.

“The Emir instructed authorities to enforce these rules and deal firmly with anyone who violates them,” the report said.
