Pakistan, EU sign Rs6.8 bn agreements for development of Balochistan

news545sf454fss5f4ISLAMABAD: The European Union and Pakistan have signed two financing agreement worth 59 million Euro (approx Rs6.8 billion) for assisting Balochistan’s development.

Financing Agreements of the Balochistan Rural Development and Community Empowerment Programme and the International Labour and Environment Standards programme were signed on Wednesday between the European Union and the Government of Pakistan.

Secretary Economic Affairs Division, Government of Pakistan Tariq Bajwa, signed the agreements on behalf of the GoP while Stefano Gatto, Chargé d’Affaires signed on behalf of EU.
