India has signed a deal to buy 36 jet fighter aircraft from France at the cost of 7.8 billion euros ($8.7 billion).

France’s Defence Minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian, co-signed the agreement with Indian counterpart Manohar Parrikar in New Delhi, Friday.
