news65s56f65ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) worker demanded refund of the money he donated for the planned lockdown in Islamabad as the event was later changed to ‘thanksgiving’ rally, after Supreme Court took up the Panama investigation.
A PTI worker, Allah Dita, belonging from district Bhakkar wrote a letter to Chairman Imran Khan.
In his letter, the worker made a simple demand saying as the protest has been postponed in Islamabad then his money should be refunded as well.
“100 rupees had been taken for Islamabad protest,” he said.
This isn’t the only turn the story took, the PTI worker also put forth his grievance that he went to Bani Gala for meeting the PTI chief, but Imran Khan did not meet him.
The planned ‘shutdown’ of the capital was called off by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday after the Supreme Court’s decision to investigate a case linked to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, as demanded by the PTI. The ‘protest’, in fact, has been changed to a ‘Thanksgiving’ rally scheduled to be held at Parade Ground today.
